Our organization was founded by the Seattle Chinese School as part of the community outreach effort in 2000. As the scope and program expand, in 2008 we established as a non-profit organization with Washington State, and in 2009 we were granted the 501-c tax-exempt status by IRS. All our members are volunteers from the community dedicated to promoting a better understanding of Chinese language and culture through education by offering cultural learning opportunities to public schools and other institutions alike. There is no pay staff in our organization.
We are pleased to announce that our organization will be hosting the third annual Chinese Scholastic Competition on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Chief Sealth International High School in Seattle. All K-12 students from public and private schools are invited to compete.(...more)
